SAP Business One Transformation for a Multi-Market FMCG Group

The Challenge

A fast-growing FMCG group operating across six markets was running disconnected ERP instances — one per country — with no consolidated view of inventory, procurement or financial performance. Month-end close took 18 days, stock-outs were costing an estimated 12% of potential revenue, and the finance team was reconciling data manually across spreadsheets. The business needed a single source of truth before its planned regional expansion.

Our Approach

IBU Digital led a phased SAP Business One implementation across all six markets, beginning with a 12-week discovery and process-mapping exercise to standardise workflows before a single line of configuration was written. We redesigned the procurement, inventory and finance modules around a unified chart of accounts, integrated SAP with the group's existing 3PL warehouse systems, and built a Power BI reporting layer that gave regional MDs real-time visibility into stock, margin and cash flow. Change management and end-user training were delivered in-country across all six markets.

  • Stock-out incidents reduced by 67% within 90 days of go-live

  • Single consolidated P&L available in real time across all markets

  • Procurement cycle time cut by 41% through automated PO workflows

  • Full go-live across six markets delivered on time and within budget

Full Brand Relaunch for a Challenger Fintech

The Challenge

A Series B fintech had outgrown its founding brand — built quickly at launch, it no longer reflected the company's ambition, product maturity or target enterprise buyer. The visual identity was inconsistent across channels, the tone of voice was too consumer-facing for B2B sales conversations, and the website was converting at under 1%. With a major funding announcement and enterprise sales push planned for Q3, the business had a 14-week window to relaunch.

Our Approach

We ran a compressed but rigorous brand strategy sprint — stakeholder interviews, competitor mapping, audience research with target enterprise buyers — and used the outputs to define a new brand positioning, messaging architecture and visual identity system. The new identity was built as a token-based design system, enabling the in-house team to maintain consistency at scale. We redesigned the website end-to-end, rewrote all sales and marketing copy, and launched a targeted LinkedIn demand-generation programme timed to the funding announcement.

Outcomes

  • Website conversion rate increased from 0.9% to 3.4% within 60 days

  • Brand launched on schedule ahead of Series B announcement

  • Sales cycle length reduced as enterprise buyers engaged earlier

  • Design system adopted by in-house team, reducing agency dependency

  • LinkedIn programme generated 140+ qualified enterprise leads in 90 days

Unified Data Platform & Attribution for an Omnichannel Retailer

The Challenge

A national retailer with 80+ stores and a growing eCommerce operation had no reliable way to attribute revenue across channels. GA4 was misconfigured, server-side tracking was absent, and the marketing team was making media-buying decisions based on last-click data that was systematically over-crediting paid search and under-crediting organic and CRM. Annual media spend exceeded £4M with no confidence in where it was working.

Our Approach

IBU Digital conducted a full analytics audit, rebuilt GA4 with server-side tracking via Google Tag Manager Server, and implemented Conversions API for Meta and TikTok to recover signal lost to iOS privacy changes. We built a composable CDP to unify online and in-store customer data, creating a single customer view for the first time. A custom Power BI attribution dashboard was built to model data-driven attribution across all paid and owned channels, and we ran a 90-day media spend reallocation exercise based on the new data.

Outcomes

  • £680K in media spend reallocated to higher-performing channels in year one

  • Tracked conversion volume increased by 34% after server-side implementation

  • Customer lifetime value model built and deployed across CRM

  • In-store and online customer profiles unified for 1.2M customers

  • Return on ad spend improved by 28% within two quarters
